CLEVELAND, Ohio – Attention Christmas Ale fans: If you can’t wait until this fall, Great Lakes Brewing Co. is whipping up a batch of the seasonal suds in July.

The ale usually is out for about eight weeks beginning with the traditional launch party at the brewpub in late October. But a single summer-ready batch will be released at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 25.

The folks at the brewery say this is the only chance to sip Christmas Ale before the traditional release about three months from now.

To get in the Christmas spirit, Great Lakes is releasing Rum Barrel Aged Triple Dog Dare at the gift shop on Saturday, July 21.
